i have concerns about it as the bloke rekons i can just bolt it on my vts and wire up the ecu for the dump valve and oil lines and the jobs done, i instantly have more power!!!

can any body give me any advice or info about this as i think its complete shite but then agen i dont no much about cars and could be/am wrong, lol.

there are some good cheap home made kits out there

gav (cant remember his username on here, its either william wallace, sophia bush), has collected his own bits before. maybe worth doing a search for threads by him as im sure he made a how to guide (it may even be in the stickies in this part of the forum)

That was a "cheap" but somewhat reliable kit. Exactly what I'm going for really.

He still covered all the vital parts and it did cost him a grand there or thereabouts.

Dont listen to what alot of people say on here mate, alot of people just say stay away from turbo's and dont even have a clue, just say it because thats what everyone is saying.....

Turbos can be done cheep yeah, of course they can. But as you dont know much about cars i wouldn't try it if i were you.

    Lol,
I'm far from staying away from turbo's and as far as "not having a clue" goes, I don't think so.

Turbo's can be done cheap, yes. But at cheap you're still looking at £1k.

Extra Fuelling? Management to control it? Management to help the standard ecu understand boost? The cheapest way of doing that is with an extra injector, MF2 and Sigcon. Even that needs to be set up. So either pay someone to do it or buy yourself a wideband AFR. You're looking at £400-£500 just for all that.

Sure you can use a pressure switch to dump the extra fuel in when boost is detected, but that won't last long at all.
