Lowering my westy!?

  1. #1
so i was just wandering, would i be able to lower the front on 45mm spax springs and use spax non adjustable shocks which only cost like 17 quid each for the front??
then lower rear torsion and use spax non adjustable's on rear??

or do i need a kit for the front??
i dont really wanna pay like 170 quid for just the front to be lowered on a kit.
    thnks

You can get a full fixed 40mm damping kit form larkspeed for £178

In that kit you will get front & rear dampers + -40mm springs

Fixed dampers are OK, adjustables are definately worth the extra but it's your choice. Either way, any better shocks are going to be better than standard which quite simply just will not last very long. Working on an average most of my customers who drop their cars on standard shocks need replacements after about 3 months.

both my car and my brothers ran standard shocks for a good 2 years after it had been lowered with no sign of any issues (both cars were sold on) eibach springs are great buddy and the drop is perfect
