evening all, im haveing some problem, i followed this guide

and done it all correctly check a million times and the rev counter didnt work not the slightest bit, well anyway i then thought about wireing it into the coil pack, and this now made it work, but poorly it fluctuates all over the place, on tick over it constantly bounces between 500rmp to 1000 rmp, is the any other place i can wire this too? or stop it fluctuating? thanks
