   Ok so i have a VTR and my power steering stopped working. i did as shown in this thread.

   after doing this the power steering worked fine, but has unfortunately stopped working again. The heaters and de-mister are still working, i have checked every fuse and the power steering pump still has fluid in it. can somebody please help me?

   sounds like ur power stearing pump is on its way out! mine went before had to buy a another 1 from the scrappy 80 nuggets

   check the relay it should be a grey one connected to the fuse box under the bonnet but could be hovering around the battery area also
   or try the fluid level failing that its a new pump
   
   mines use to work then not work then work again found it really strange i checked everything then found out it was just a loose earth wire under the battery check all the earth connections onto the body around the battery/ fuse box area might just be that to you never know
