S conversion

   anybody know how to get a VTR cable to fit the S engine?

   You mean throttle cable? The clutch cable is identical.
   
   The throttle cable on the other hand is a fair bit shorter, you'll need to buy a VTS one, theyre only about £8

   phoned everywhere inc citroen, and there the same cable tho :s

   Right. My PM was a bit short and sweet...
   
   Go to Halfords and buy:
   
   Cable
   Connectors
   
   With the connector: Split open the outer plastic casing so you are left with just the metal bit inside.
   
   Cut the big bulge of metal off the end and feed the cable into the metal clamp from above. This metal clamp from the connector fits inside the throttle lever thingy.
   
   Then feed the cable backwards back to the pedal, cut so suit and connect.
   
   
   FYI: You might need the big bulge of metal on the end of the cable to connect to the pedal. Double check before cutting it off.
   
   I know its not perfect but i had it on my conversion and it worked fine.

   vtr and vts cable is a different length. just buy a vts cable from citroen.

   they are the same length when you buy them new, when you buy a new cable kit for a saxo/106 the cable is massive and you cut it down to fit, the cable i bought said on it suitable for ALL saxos and 106's and it is you just cut it to where you need it

   you can get 1 from citroen that doesnt need cut. cointains all the outer sleeving and the spring loaded tensioner thing aswell.

   the one i got came with everything i needed, was the complete kit inner, outer cable and all the little clips and bits and bobs
