yeah just follow that guide. about 5 or so minutes in a 100c oven.
Only thing i would say is after you have sealed them back it might be worth running a bit of silicone around the join just to make sure they are sealed up properly

Wrap both lights each in a pair of dark tights
Some may say cheap and cheerful bit I actually think it looks really cool

Not the quickest of jobs but it is quite easy i used a heat gun took me abwt 10mins on each light
