got a horrible westcoast yellow gearknob on my car and cant get it off ! is it a matter of turing orr??
    help please
  2. #2
nope, put it in 4th gear, sit in the back seat and pull, HARD

Cut it off or look for a small allen screw (pull away the gaitor ... could be under it in a small channel)

Just pull and watch out for a black eye / broken nose

hahahaha you need to pull sooooo hard but feels like your going to pull the gear stick from the bottom of the car instead

That's exactly what I was worried about!! So I got someone else to do it so it'd be their fault if it broke, lol

My gear knob was a struggle, but a twisty pull helped.

he's done it now. it was quite funny watching coz he nearly flew into the boot.

you just pull really hard.thats what i did with mine, suprisingly once it comes off the first time it comes off easily all the other times

For future reference, Twist 90 degrees, then pull. Makes life a lot easier.
