Cleaning the idle control??

   Hey, I've having a problem with the car cutting out right after I start it... I had a word with a mate who works for peugeot and he said he's saw it before on a 106 and just needed the idle control cleaning...
   
   Can anyone explain to me what I need to do as I've never cleaned one before.
