creaking noise drivers side front wheel

   Noticed a few days ago that when i go over speedbumps and when i come to a stop there is a creaking noise coming from front drivers side wheel, seems to have got a lot worse today?
   
   Also makes the noise when driving over shitty roads as well now, i'm guessing something to do with suspension, anybody got some ideas?

   Creaking noise or a rattle kind of noise? Sounded like my rattle was cuming from the front drivers side but infact it was the cat vibrating about (hitting off the heat sheild i think)

   wheel bearing maybe? i can supply all the rebuild parts at low prices. Keep me in mind

   definitely a creaking noise from the front right wheel, sounds like its coming from the spring when its compressed, but could be wishbone? what does the wheel bearing actually do?

   Sounds like wishbone bushes prob easier to replace wishbone than just bushes. Does it clunk sometimes normaly going from fowards to reverse On full lock or vice versa. It will creak because the vibrations from your spring haven't got any rubber to absorb the shocks

   if it creaks n cracks on steering then i'd say the ball joint has gone, mine has n its makes this noise, just jack it up, grab the wheel at the bottom and see if you have any movement, there shouldn't be any, but then again you could have movement from the wheel bearing, get someone else to have a look as you move it to see where the play is coming from

   yh noticed today it does it when on full lock as well so probably this, will jack it up tomorrow and see what i find, thanks people

   i have exactly the same thing i had the wheel bearing replaced and when i drove it home it was doing exactly the same thing turns out it may be wrong bearing or a faulty one looks like you may need a new one

    I've got the same problem, need to get round to sorting it. I was told to take the rear wheels off and tighten the arb rear end plate bolt. Hopefully this will solve it...

    mine did the same turned out to be wishbone bushes.
