Manifold questions

  1. #1
Hi there, I have a MK2 saxo vtr and it has the remote oil filter away from the block. The cat is on the manifold and I want to get a new manifold. Is there some manifolds so I don't have to move the oil filter?

    Cheers Phil

raceland will fit but will score the oil filter.
ive seen some people buy raceland ones and then put like 3 gaskets between head and manifold and it just clears the oil filter(not sure if it melted it or what)

    supersprint will do one.
    GMC/btb do one.
sportex do one which is in 2 parts.

if you buy the raceland 4-1 it misses the oil filter, the 4-2-1 is the one which touches it, so in other words you use a 4-2-1 for a mk1 and a 4-1 for a mk2

i've got the raceland stainless 4-1, went straight on, no problems with the oil filter. cheapest option and sounds great. cost about £120 posted from tuningleader (through mr_willy on here) compared with the supersprint which wasn't far off £400 after vat and postage. there's a raceland on ebay at the minute from tuningleader but it's £185 posted
