Indicator Off But Keeps Ticking

   hi, read into this as my vts has started doing it, i believe i need a new relay or stalk??
   
   where can i get these from and can i fit them myself??
   
   
   is it an easy job?
   any guides??

   Had that twice, in my ex106 and saxo. Sorted it by blowing hot air into the stalk.

   It will be your stalk at fault, when it ticks lift it up or down very slightylty and see if it stops it, if so then your stalk has gone.
   
   But to change it i "think" the wheel has to come of if i remember rightly, but thats just a T50 bit so its easy peasy.

   It's the indicator stalk - common problem.
   
   Steering wheel off job to replace it.

   Hi,
   
   MOst often is is the indicator stalk, you may be able to ever so gently wiggle it to get it to stop/start clicking. Occasionally its the relay.

   Try ebay or a breakers yard for a replacement.

   That guide is incomplete: disconnect the battery at least 30 minutes before taking the airbag off (for your own safety)

   could be the relay m8 had that on his if not then its the stalk

   cheers guys but the noise is coming from under the dash by the passanger footwell!
   
   so it might not be the stalk as the stalk is by the steer wheel correct????

   Hi,
   
   Yes the indicator realy is the thing making the noise and it is where you said. BUt often its a dodgy connection on the stalk that causes it to click.

    mine used to click but doesnt now, it was my relay box cost me like £3 for a new one
