iTB's injectors

  1. #1
just acquired some gsxr bodies on a sandy/colin manifold,
firstly anyone got an idea what injectors these are:

they are bosch and as you can see they have '2500447' on them?
also my engine spec will be ph4's with 79/80mm high comps + pred ecu, what size cc injectors will i require?

lastly my tb setup came with the standard plastic type non-return fuel rail,

are there any other rails that are a direct fit and have a return port?
if not would it be suitable to run them without a return or am i best tapping a thread into them and making one myself?

    thanks

The GSXR injectors are usually about 200-220cc. If that's from our 16v set up, I would have expected to see picos in there? We "T" the fuel line for a return and a single line to the rail when using this rail. Otherwise Colin can TIG a return into that rail if you want continuous flow through the rail.

they are definitely Bosch injectors, have you got any pictures of any of your fuel line/rail setups?
    thanks

yes its technically better to circulate the fuel --keeps fuel at a lower temp and therefore more dense-so calibration of ecu is more accurate when engine bay is hot

providing you have a stand alone then you could run 330cc injectors --but you use the word "possibly" 180 bhp --so my advice is start with the ones you have and a 4.5 fuel reg

yes will be run on a pred ecu, given spec list on 1st post - ph4's, 79.5mm high comps, pred ecu, gsxr 1000 bodies/sandy inlet.
the injectors i have still havnt been identified, have you got any ideas? will initially run on a 3.5 reg.
    thanks
