will this item fit on a car thats lowered 60mm on the front
omp lower brace

#1
-
#2it will fit, think Chip is that low and has one, it may catch though....
-
#3They do hany very low, it will be fine on flat roads however if you ever have to go over those horrible half bumps in the road or anything like that it will definatly catch
-
#4ive got one -50mm and it scrapes backroads and smal square speedbumps. a friend had one, clouted it in town and it snaped one end. he draged it to my place for removal
-
#5ok cheers guys for the replys so these aren't really ideal for every day driving unless you've had a small drop
-
#6not at all. my old vts was lowered 60mm and it used to scrape on every lil bump on the road! i was permanently paranoid i was gonna rip it off cos it scraped on everything!
-
#7I wouldn't bother with one if you're more than 40mm down.
-
#8unless ur gonna track it
-
#9Mines lowered 50mm and fits over most things with lower brace
-
#10Ripped mine to bits on 40mm.........
-
#11Mines lowered 50mm on the front and scrapes speed bumps etc but i use it as a dialy without to much hassle . . .
-
#12Im down 35 and it catches on bigger speedbumps. Otherwise no!
-
#13was thinking of getting one of these as well whats the worst thing that could happen if you did smack it one as said above would you just have to drag it somewhere till you could get it off
-
#14Mines down 60mm and is fine on speed humps, i go over 2 on the way to and from work and never catches. BAD bumpy roads can sometimes be a hassle but it's generally quite good. Better than everyone makes out imo.
-
#16My car is 50mm down & we can't get a jack under it. It grounds out on speed bumps. A lower brace maycatch all the time
-
#17my 106 is down 60mm with a lower brace catches on most things inc cats eyes, but most the roads around my way are smooth so no major troubles
-
#19ive had a major change of heart so my original post is now irrelevant as the new 1s down 40mm but cheers for the replys
-
#20Cat's eye's? Bull shit. I'm sorry that's people trying to get bragging rights about their car being low.
Plus, speedhumps, the brace is level with the wheels, so as the wheels go up the speedhump - the brace does at the same time. So it doesn't catch. -
#21Those ones you can get your wheels over each end catch me out now and again if i catch them wrong!Quote:Cat's eye's? Bull shit. I'm sorry that's people trying to get bragging rights about their car being low.

And im sure your wishbones would be fine if.you twatted it off x -
#22Is there any alternatives to the omp lower brace?
-
#23improved handling. feels more sharper compared to putting on the upper strut brace
-
#24You mean the red one's? I take them everyday on the way to work, keep the car central over them and it still doesn't catch. Don't even have to go to one side.
-
#27its a beast of one, trust meQuote:Fair enough dude, if it catches, it catches. I guess they mustn't be as big around here.
Cat's eye's though, who ever said that is talking rubbish or they're on 13s with low profile's lol.
a bit too fast and they catch too
but cats eyes, i doubt. sump would be like an inch from the floor! -
#28fucking lol at cats eyes, biggest joke in a while

when i had mine, i only had problems with those half speed bumps where the wheel goes either side of it, but thats easy to get round
-
#29lowered 50mm and mine dosent catch on anything except kerbs, and stupidly high speed bumps.
