Ok so this has been playing up for a while but now its getting worse.
Drove to college this morning - no problems.
about 15 mins later go to start her up, the car started but then revs went mad, can only describe them as going 'vrooooom' up and then straight back down, below 1000 nearly hitting the bottom, and you could feel the car vibrating like fuck and the car wanted to cut out, so i kept the revs up and it was alright, but as i went to pull off, BAM! The car dropped revs, cut off and the engine management light come on.
Started her straight back up, started ok, but the revs were still dropping abit below what they should going up and down. Pulled away ok, but every time i was idle untill i got home the revs kept dropping stupidly low, this isnt the first time its been happening. My mate who works at furrows say's it could be the crank sensor, any suggestions?
