Its not lazy you pleb its common sense. If he dont know just read it and he will sure as hell understand that more than he does you..... time it up properly by locking the crank and cams via the holes..... use a screw driver?? good luck and have fun replacing valves when its a couple of teeth out.

as i stated use a long thin screwdriver to find tdc then mark it on the pulley, and whats wrong with 8mm drill bits to lock the cams because if you buy the proper timing tool for the 16v whats in it? 8mm pins, just trying to give the guy some advice and save him money not a two word answer that tell him next to fuck all
