water leak coming from somewhere??

   can anyone help i came to my car the other morning and the passenger side footwell had a right puddle of water in it! ive took all the roof lining out to try find where its coming from because someone told me it could be the aireal? but it doesnt seem to be coming from there plus how could it het to the footwell?? but i havnt got a clue where to look?? any advice is appreciated. thanks

   It could be your heater matrix mate. Have you looked at your coolant level? If your heater matrix pops that its where the water usually comes out.

   It could be from the sunroof mate, have you checked the rubber seal around it? Mine came unstuck not that long ago and I had the same problem as you have.
   
   Glued it back in and its fine now.

   could be sunroof, check under the lining, it mite have rusted through in the corners. ive just spent this week sorting mine out:

   check your wishbone mounts there is plastick foil stick over that under carpet.
   when i change my ball joint i didnt cover that back with tape and thats where water get in.

   Got the same problem, havent sorted mine yet cause the saxos going soon but a few people say about a missing rubber gromet coming from the engine bay. Try searching the forums, theres plenty of threads with similar stuff

   Ive got the same problem at the moment its dripping out of my sunroof winder and out of the alarm sensors on the pillar and ive noticed one corner of my sunroof seal keeps popping out and must be coming in there !Will glue it back in tomorow like craigvts said , cheers

   thanks for advice people, its definately not the heather matrix because water levels are fine. I think its the sunroof seal because its dripping from around there but then the footwell is wet through?? It could be that flap i need to have a good look after work tomorrow and let you all know. Thanks again people.

   Sounds like one of the bulkhead gromets has either died or buggered off.
   
   Happened to my old Golf and it was a case of Carpet up, Seat back, Hose on the windscreen, Torch and Wet elbows! In my case, the bonnet cable gromet has decided to leave.
