Mesh Grill?

  1. #1
I was thinking about meshing my grill on my 1.1 forte and realised how am i suppose to open the bonnet?

the release is in the slats im guessing id have to cut an opening in the mesh so i can jam my fingers in there.

Is there another way or what?

    Thanks ^^

Well considering my grill has kinda faded (aswell as my bumpers a little) i thought it would be a nice change, aslong as i take my take and make it look nice.

    i meshed my own grill

and cut a hole in the mesh, used some black electrical tape to cover the sharp bits (cut very thin) see pics -->

I did mine my self, i dont see why you cut a triangle? not saying it doesnt look good mate.

i measured the handle down to where it came sat normally then cut the exact amount out, cant even seen it has a hole in it.

I wouldnt do a home made one though, they are a bitch to do and get looking good.

dont get me wrong they loook nice from a distsnce but up close they tend to look tacky and bodged, they would look better if the grille was half way between the frame imo
