Breaker bar, but be careful, you don't want the studs to snap.

the standard wheel wrench in the boot can be bent by a small child. get a breaker bar

get wheel brace on them n give them sudden kick never fails

    As said,

You need a decent sized breaker bar.

Once they're off, wire brush the thread and put a smear of copper grease on them. Will prevent it happening again. And if you ever need to change a spare in the middle of nowhere, you won't want your bolts seized.

    Exactly that.

I bent mine into a Boomerang, its now at the bottom of a canal.
I got a breaker bar from halfords. £16 iirc or something. Does it perfectly.

also doubles as impressive threatening tool

I had the same problem a few nights ago.. was almost as if someone had welded on the nuts!

So I soaked it in WD40 for a night and used a longer too to make it easier. Also make sure the car is still on the ground when initially loosening the bolts.

This echos what others have said and has worked for me ... just be careful you don't snap the thread.

Take it to the place you had your tyres fitted by they did them up if they snap them its the fault easy as
