Looks really smart with black wheels like

    Thanks

Turns a few heads too aha. im gonna take the stripes off mine and lower it a bit, not too low though, then itll look really smart, i think the mango in the centres of the alloys set it off too..

Mango definately the best colour in my opinion

yeh they look ok....white is the best colour for a saxo though they aarnt my cars btw...google is your friend, as is the search button buddy
  8. #8
Ah ok hahaha im new and still finding my way about sorry. Yeah the centres do look smart like. The stripes arent too bad if im honest they are quite subtle.

Most people have told me to get rid of them but tbh they're small, at least htey're not massive thick ones that are obnoxious,
  10. #10
I gues every body will have their opinions on them though, but at the end of the day its up to you as its your car
  11. #11
    Yeah i guess aha.
but anyways buddy, definately go for Mango or white as the other fella said, both are amazing colours but both are a bitch to keep clean lol, everything shows up.
  12. #12
My old white one...i miss it

    and my current black one...

And tbh, the black one is way harder to keep clean than the white one
  13. #13
mmmhhhmmmm white one is smart, but its hell of a low at the back is it not

That canna be very practicle Big fan of the black one though you have it looking good like
  14. #14
I guess black's harder to keep clean with smudges and stuff, but with general road dirt my car's a bitch, go down one country road for a few miles and i get home with mud/dust/debris chucked up the sides lol
  15. #15
    Thanks

Well tbh, the white one was 60mm front and 70mm(ish) on the back, and the black one is 50mm front and 60mm back, and the black one is more inpractical than the white one...no idea why, i have always been puzzled by it lol

again...the black one showed up more dirt...the only thing the white one showed up more was tar...but alteast you could have it looking spick and span as you could see it to get rid of it

Hahaha i dont think either would be much use for me like. i stay out in the country and tow a trailer quite often. how far can you lower the rear with out causeing damage to the bushes and bearing in the axle?

nothing really, even standard the bearings collaps...40mm seems to be the most common height for practicality shortly followed by 60mm...anything over 80mm is just stupidly over the top and very impractical lol...the white one was a nicer ride than the black one is....never had a problem with the white one in the 8months i owned it...where as the black one is on its 3rd 2nd hand axle in 6months...sooooo im rebuilding one with new bearings lol....it just depends tbh....

Yeah thats not the type of road you want to be driving up and down on at speed
  21. #21
ok thanks, I dont think i would go any lower then 40mm anyway to be honest i was just wondering how low i could go Just another quick question as i have noticed you have it done on your black saxo

    The headlight tints

Does this affect the effective ness of the lights and therefore make it illegal and an mot failure?, i have seen loads of guys on here doing it but i wasnt sure.
  22. #22
No it doesnt provided you dont paint the reflector bit...as you can see in mine there is still a shinny bit in the middle ....theres a guide on here some where...
  23. #23
OK thanks, i will have a look cheers

http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47845 for the guide buddy, was thinking about tinting them myself but dont trust myself and know ill end up with no headlights haha...
i love the mango saxo's, would def choose that or a black one imo :-)
