Help please!!

   I have a 2000 saxo forte and I am having a problem with a horrible noise coming from the near side rear wheel area when turning sharp right, under normal driving (just me driving)there is NO sound, sound only if I swing it round, but with a passenger in the rear it sounds awful. Its a grinding noise almost like the wheel bearing has completely colapsed but its not that , its loud on the right turn and over bigger bumps in the road.
   
   any help would be much appreciated (wife going mental)
