does anyone know how to adjust a clutch on a 97 saxo 1.1

#2What do you mean adjust the clutch? do you mean clutch cable? If so, look ontop of the gearbox, there will be a cable with 1-2 bolts on, undo the bolts until your happy with the position of the clutch pedal1 user thanked this post:

#4i put the clutch pedal all the way down to the floor put it in first and i move my toe's and the car bites, its too keen to start, so i need the bite point moving abit more up

#5Clutch Cable is under the battery tray and its 2 bolts at the end... loosen the first one and then start loosening the 2nd and keep testing your clutch till your happy with the height of the biting point

Loosening the bolts just slackens the cable and the adjusts height of the clutch pedal in the car1 user thanked this post: -
#6I had the same problem, clutch was right down and it was already at biting point, however iirc I tightened up my cable
