Engine Mount?

Going from a VTR to a VTS the only thing I'm missing at the moment is possibley and engine mount?

Can anyone tell me the name of which mount I will need to buy?

Mount under the Ecu i believe.
I'm not sure if you can Buy it as it is.
Most people go to a Scrappy and get one of a VTS.
you have to grind it off i believe mate.

only 1.1s have to weld the mount on
vtr and vts use the same mounts im sure of it

Are people 110% about this because I rang manic motors and he thought I might need to change it? I can't afford to not have the part if I need it when the mechanic is round fitting engine on saturday?

Also remeber my car is on the switchover in 2000 so my VTR mounts may be different to others?

That was of some help mate thanks, but that wasn't specific with the mounts applied if you were converting from a VTR rather than 1.4/1.1?

Just check the the mount plate the engine bolted too, to doudle check it right but going from the pictures it looks right

You need to change the arm that links the orange mount to that mount on the block that you've put in the last 2 pics

The part that bolts to the block on that very last pic is different on the 16v to the one on 8v

So the part you need is an arm (part that bolts to the orange mount) from a 16v then your all good to go mate

I would say get one from a scrappy but I know scrappys can be a pain sometimes and won't sell things like that on there own they would keep it with the engine, I mean I wanted the top spring pan on the front suspension, but had to buy the whole leg cause they can't sell the rest on in parts, but for the time it will take and hassle you may aswell get it from Citroen/Peugeot. Unless it's stupidly priced of course lol

I am only talking about the mount in the picture, if he show pictures of the others can answer, but can see it as that bolt to the gearbox so would think it was the same. Could be wrong though.

Thats the only bit you need to change with the engine mounts

You can re use all 3 mounts off the vtr, and you need to keep this bit....

ebay dont have any and i cant do scrappies cos i work 9-5.

Im in a shit situation lol!

Yer you defo already have that bottom one as that's the one you pictured in the bottom 2 pics in page 1

No the only other place you will get that mount mate is through Peugeot/Citroen (which will be the same price or dearer because 106parts get stuff in from same suppliers as the dealer) or 2nd hand on here

So your options are pretty small tbh mate
