I think they are the same i cant see why not? Gearbox is the same, and so is the flywheel i believe? Not sure though

i thought i pressure plate bolt spacing was different between mk1 and mk2 not sure when the switch was, yes the gearbox is the same but the flywheel and pressure plate can be different.

The pressure plate is definately different from mk1 to mk2.

only on later mk2s is it different, earlier ones were the same

when i done my clutch the pressure plate was different but i just used mk2 clutch with the mk1 pressure plate works fine
