Sorry if this has been asked loads of times before guys but my question is Wich is the best induction kit for a 106 gti?
I was thinking about the BMC CDA but wasn't too sure if there was any better ones for the gti.
    Thanks

Currently have a open air green cotton filter at the min.
Would you recommend I stick with this then instead of the BMC etc.
    Thanks

couple of my mates have the k&n panel filters in the standard airbox and rekon there great, i had a cda on my vts and it was a good filter but gave off alot of noise, so i went back to standard airbox and found it about the same

dont get a raceland!!!!! they melt as there made of plastic cause its a 4-2-1, i went through 3 enclosed cases, theres a massive topic about this, but the best ie either carbon CDA enclosed or a ecosse enclosed one. just some advise there, how is the car?

bang for buck - standard box with modified feed and panel filter

Kyle, what you running your raceland on? 106gti?you got a 4-2-1 manifold thats not heat wrapped? Matt

BMC CDA is great for reducing heatsoak, however - everyone thinks bigger is better when its not.

I'm still a firm believer of open air filters and will stand by them every time. Yes I know they suffer from heatsoak, but with a heat shield and a good couple of cold air feeds it WILL draw a greater a volume of air than an enclosed filter like the CDA ones. It will also make the throttle more responsive.
