Hi guys I have fully decided i want to fit launch control on the project,
where abouts do i go to get one fitted and maybe a rough price?
im only looking for a basic set up i,e dont wanna keep having to re-program it in different weather conditions because it will only be used on nice warm days.

Surely this would just destroy a saxos driveshafts, transmission etc etc??

not a good idea unless the engine is forged and the box and shafts will not like it either

wouldnt be constantly used tho lol bout once a summer it will get used and by that time a few driveshafts and gearboxes wont be a problem to replace with hardly anything in the bay to get round

But really do you need it? Well depends on what system your using? I.e. Ecu but remember you are using a carb engine ent you?

So what ignition system are you using?

Think that what everyone thinking, I would do it, but if he wants, then talk to someone like atspeed sure they would explain to you how to do it.

I'm pretty sure you can't anti-lag sc engines

I dont know a great deal about launch control, but would you even benefit from it on a fwd car like a saxo?

4WD yeh but FWD on a low powerd engine?

ah lol, I thought you meant for your sc engine

yeh i'm sure you could antilag a TU turbo lump - whether or not it's advantageous based on the reduced life of the turbo and the cost associated.

Maybe Atspeed will do something along these lines with their mad 106 turbo ?!

you should never antilag a GT series turbo. For a reliable setup you'd need a T series turbo (massive delay in initial spool up) and the advantage you'd get from the antilag would be minimal and would really only overcome the lag you've CAUSED putting the T series on. Also, antilag is illegal on the road, so really not worth it.

Launch control is easy to setup, but very punishing on drivetrain components.
