decat for a 1.1

   just wondering if the magnex decat intended for the 1.4 will fit a 1.1? Ive bought a magnex exhaust from cat back and i was thinking of sticking a decat on while im at it. I know i wont gain any power, just want it to sound nice.

   IIRC a decat will slow a 1.1 down?
   and i assume so yeah it will make more noise

   just get one made up at a local exhaust place, for a 1.1 doubt it be anymore than 20 quid.
   
   think the 1.4 will fit tho yea

   yeah dont see how freeing up the system can slow it down, surely it can only help?

   yea it'll fit, any saxo cat which is under the car should fit

   Ohh tom tom tom how many posts and still not learning
   His gains wont be noticble but as other people have said decatting it is going to help air flow and pressure so its going to make the car quicker not that he will notice it but it definately wont slow it down!

   iv got the magnex de-cat manifold for the 1.4 on my 1.1 it fits perfectly no problems at all. and seems to make it slightly quicker but mainly just makes it sound alot better
