    Hi, im going to be getting a new manifold soon as i want a stainless steel one,
    just wondering what the difference is from a 4-2-1 manifold to 4-1 manifold?

    On a standard car , not alot between them

    4-1 more top end 4-2-1 more mid range

    To get the best you will need full system , induction , cams

    Unless the components are specifically chosen to compliment others it simply does not apply. You dont get mk2 vtr owners saying that the standard 4-1 design is more peaky over the mk1. Theory is just theory and reality is far more complex.
