basically i have a r with an S engine and i am looking at what i would need to add/change to run a bike carb setup

    current spec:
S engine rebuild with head skim
cat cam 705 fast road cams
    k&n gen 2

what would i need to do to my engine to get a carb set up on?

For bike carb set up willsy helped a bikekid450 out on a thread this week.

basically you need a fuel pressure regulator, dizzy and ignition coil from a ax gt or early 106 or similar.

No need for stand alone ecu. But you have no chance in hell of getting it through the mot with bike carb's on as the emissions will be sky high.

Dizzy? how will he run that from a 16v without have massive mods to the head?

Ive heard people run them off the standard ecu but really you want an ignition only ecu.

Once you have done all that you will only want throttle bodies so you might aswell do that in the first place
