what box do i have in my vts...

    hi all.

    iv been told that i i may not be running a standard VTS gearbox on my mk2 VTS. been told it could be a furio box.

    recently bought the car witht the privious owner knowing very little about the car mods,

    can you compare these with your stock VTS so i can work out what box i might have

    this is the sort of speeds im getting at specific revs.

    1st gear - 30mph at 5.5k revs
    2nd gear - 60mph at 6k revs
    3rd gear - 80mph at 6k revs
    4th gear - 100mph at 5.5 revs
    5th gear - 70mph at 3k revs

    Actually I think it's a VTR box dude. Basically the only difference between the two boxes is 1st and 2nd gear ratios. The rest are the same.

    It's bloody hard to tell because you're accelerating, would be easier with a video of constant speeds and different gears.

    sounds like a VTR box, if its was furio it'll be sitting a 3.5k at 70mph
