bareable everyday modifications?

hey there...if i were to get a low mileage saxo vts...(probably unlikely due to insurance these days )

what modifications can i do to the engine that won't need serious care, or drive me mad in an every day road situation?

and can you use full word modifications rather than initials...i still need to learn them..

    cheers all

    breathing mods
    cams
    mapping
    tasty suspension
bigger brakes and you will have a quick little car

    As above,

Breathing mods and Cams are probably the easiest mods.

make it stop, make it turn, make it go! thats my opinion! I know i haven't personally done it in that order but yeah...

Depends what your going to consider bareable on a daily, i know people who cant put up with having their car lowered.

Mine is my daily there are moments i would prefer a smooth ride etc, but thats only when im on a shitty road surface (im -80mm).

if you dont mind the ride/noise then:

    breathing mods
    cams
    bigger brakes
    suspension

is the road most people go down, as for care, regualar oil changes etc.

well im not too bothered about lowering it all.

really im just the kind of driver who wants power when he needs it. and obviously to enjoy it occasionally

they do look like 4x4 at standard height though tbf.

The best mod you can do to a saxo is slam it.

power when you want it = supercharger if you have the money get it fitted professionally or undertake it yourself

bigger brakes, lower it, magnex exhaust, not loud.

camming....yea if yu get it mapped, no if yu dont, its a pain in the arse to drive an unmapped cammed saxo believe me.

maybe a decent sound system in their, as your not going for all out power, cruizin with yur tunes on

i have a ph3 cam in mine and it was a pain in the arse for me. driveability suffered more than what i expected.

im running enough to get 186.4hp at fly and i drive it every day to and from work

    high compression pistons
    forged rods
    arp rodbolts
    big valve head
    ph4 newmans camshafts
    45mm throttle bodies
    4-1 manifold

it depends on how much you can deal with tbh i kept all my cushty leather seats and sterio (done stripped out and tbh it got boring) its a bit loud compared to most cars but i manage with it fine haha

only bad point is the fuel consumption lol
