Headlights

    I know this sounds stupid but im sure ive seen people with standard headlights sprayed black where its normaly silver? Am i going mad or can you actually do this? If so how do you do it?

    Yes mate you can do it prey easy to do I did it on my old sax there's a guide on here i think can only be done on mrk 2 as far as I know

    Nice one, Ive tried having a look and cant seem to find anything ha. Something il look into though!

    can be done on any car, just get hairdryer or put in oven until glue/silcone is loose and pull apart take out insert spray it then put it back together and reheat the silicone if can if not get some more.. i have done it to my mk1 headlights and indicators

    Thanks matey, il be doing this at the weekend! Silicon shouldntg be hard to re do as im doing it all the time bathroom fitting haha

    Thanks people! Another question though, if im spraying it black wont this make my headlights really bad as they wont reflect th light?

    wait until tomoz and i will upload a pic of mine, mine was a mk1 and looks much better then before.. you can only spray a certain bit otherwise it wont reflect and ur lights will be crap, you see which bit to do when u take them apart of see my pic tomoz

    use satin black, looks really good when its done! just make sure you seal it properly, didnt seal one of mine and it got condensation had to take it apart and re-seal again, then it was fine haha

    Yh that happend when I did my others and imo looks better with out the Orange indicator cap thingy

    Well worth doing, going to do mine when I have a weekend off, best cheap mod avaliable
