    Invest implies that you could make a profit which just isn't going to happen
    The only mods which will add some monetary value to the car are power mods like exhaust/mani/cams/boddies/turbo etc
    
    Most of the other stuff is just for show and won't make the car worth any more when you come to sell it.
    Just something to think about

    More outlandish mods like turbo charging it perhaps might reap is some cash on sale but even then it'll be touch and go if you even break even. Just make it smart and use it to have some fun in. Or use it as a learning experience by doing everything yourself.
