will a sports backbox exhaust fail on emmisions?

   helo i just wanted to know if a backbox no matter how big it is e.g 2inch, 5inch, etc will it effect emmisons for an m.o.t. thank you!

   It may fail on noise if its a loud chav box!

   Unless its stupidly loud as Quick says then it shouldnt fail as long as its just a backbox.
   If you decide to decat as well then it will fail

   it will need to be fitted securely though. my friends failed for being cable tied on the other week (was a corsa can on an disastra to be fair)

   so becuase it has cable ties it fails? All cable ties do is hold it in the right place i.e middle of the recess.
