Firstly sorry for all the questions lately but i want to get this right and not waste money on the wrong parts lol.

Im going for Bike bodies with the Sandy / Colin modifications........my question is which are the best bike bodies to buy??? R1, Gsxr1000????

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

James, seen more people use the GSXR bodies over the R1 mate.. I am very tempted to go down the same route as you now... mmm. You spoke to sandy about turn around time?

Spoke to Sandy very briefly yesterday and yes lead times were mentioned. Im in no rush tbh......wont be fitting them until early next year when i hope ATSpeed have the Omex 600 Group Buy again.

i spend 3 hours last night on google searching looking at setups he has done on saxos and 106's......me likey!!!

if i had enough time and money id use 48mm sv1000 tb's with custom linkage but youd need 2 sets

The GSXR1000 are the best for Sandys setting.

They need to be K1-K4 models aswell if I remember right!

As said before, gsxr1000's are what works best with sandys manifolds. And get the best results. Thinking of doing this on my 8v

    you want gsx750/1000 K1 or k2 and possibly k3.

Sandy's Gsxr tb set up is awesome!! My Rallye is making 156bhp on his set up. (with cam) and an Omex and Atspeed Racing map.

They look like the right ones. (dont blame me if i'm wrong.) Going by the title they are the right ones.
Make sure you get the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) with them. These are a £130 new.

750 and 1000 K1 and K2 are the same. maybe very very slight differences that dont really matter. I think the K3 could be the same too.

Well thanks all for your inputs, they are now ordered......gsxr1000 k3 bodies complete with fuel rail and TPS.

Now to save the pennies for the rest of the parts lol.

Omex are fine however if you are doing it on the cheap and bike bodies then the predator will suit fine aswell.

+ no loom choppage is always useful if you ever go to sell up.

for tu5jp4 they are very good too, but perhaps will need to be jetted for max performance
