janspeed b/box

   hi just put a s/s janspeed boack box on my mk2 vtr only mods is the b/box and a induction filter but the janspeed is soo quiet is this normal its nearly same as std 1???? any ideas on a deep tone recomendation for a b/box ..once my mot is out the way in 5month ill prob end up getting a full sytem but untill then i woant some sound ...thanks

   the backbox itself is very raspy imo, go for supersprint or kam's system

   hi bud its bobbley n raspy wen ticking over but wen its rev/driven you cant hear it all all hmmmmm may just sell it on for now thnks bud

   is you're car de-catted? I have a straight through centre (un known make) and this backbox and I love the sound of it on full chat

   still got cat and std centre just wonted a b/box untill it goes threw mot. is this why its quiet .well silent imo was hoping for some noise,,the omount of car about just with b/boxes n all sound louder than std then mines sam eas std and its a janspeed

   you will notice a massive increase in nosie with out the cat, my car was mostly induction noise and once I de-catted it it was very raspy and loved to pop and bang

   ye i get ya there buddy.as i say mot in 5 months just wonted to ni if any b/boxes that are deep in tone an not to loud... seen cheap sportex on ebay but heard there loud n not to nice sounding. guna take slats out front grill and leave cit badge in tomorrow they look really nice. then smoked head lights next :-)
