has anyone ever had this to their saxo

    now it sounds alot cleaner

is the breather snapped off there? it is meant to stick up a bit so you can clip your hose onto. take the pic further away.

so can you see down into the engine. iirc it will reduce you oil pressure ALOT!!!!!!!!

In all honesty when i removed the Rocker cover i couldnt believe how for one it passed MOT and secondly it started...there was about an inch of this Oil and crap between the breather plate and rocker cover

I've had shite in the breather but never that bad...

    makes me hungry tho...

the cream colour is water mixing with oil the brown colour is just really old oil. if yopu have taken the rocker cover off how much of the creamy (mayo) was on the underside of the cover??

take off the hose that connects to it from the air box cos i think your sucking in water and causing gunk to build up

would the hose closest to the engine block have anything to do with it ...it is fairly damaged
  14. #14
no it just sucks in air from around the manifold to help cool it. the hose at the front if the car gets sum water in it (rain) and the engine sucks it in. the filter prevents it from entering the cylinder but the damp weather lately would mean a lot mor water bein sucked in and your oil is getn the worst of it. you can buy oil breathers from halfords.

and even take your airbox out to see if the standard oil breather filter is still intact then you can either put it back on or replace it
