IIRC, Chipwizards in Rochdale are probably the only place that will remap a standard ECU.

If cams are the furthest you are planning on going then wayne is your man ( chipwizards) If you are wanting to go bodies or turbo route etc in the future then at the moment omex or would be the best bet but you are talking around 1k on managment alone!! 3 Pluggers are a bitch!! Im also running a 02 vts but just decided to go down the nitrous route so its easy, quicker and swappable when i choose to sell up!!

Unfortunately, there's no plug and play aftermarket ECUs for 3 plugs... yet.

So it's either Chipwizards for a remap, or going for a standalone ECU, sorting out a loom, and mapping.

Bugger,... Cheers guys! Looks like fitting the cams an run them or a while then a trip up north then! How long it usually take for them to map it all up then! Yeah cams is as far as I lookin for, 145/150bhp and that'll do me while I got it! Shity 3plugs or wat!!

    Cheers

I would not suggest that you run them unmapped mate, i would book it in a chipwizards and then work the fitting around that date, it only takes a day for a full mapping session aslong as your car is running properly and is healthy. You should expect to see around 145 ish bhp mapped up with the mods you have id say.

Furry muff!! Lol!! Yeh 145 bhp in a sax is a guaranteed smile raiser tbf. With my nitrous running a 50 bhp shot im around 180bhp and theres been alot of suprises for unsuspecting expensive motors out there!! Only down side is a £45 re-fill every few weeks wich you wont have with the cams! Good luck mate, hope it all works out for you.

The cams will be fine to run unmapped for a while imo - I'm pretty sure Newman recommend retarding the inlet cam 2 degrees so it runs a little better on the standard map.

If you have the cambelt cover off, then no doubt Wayne will adjust the timing during mapping.

I bought a mapped ecu off another car.

It did not work, I ended up having it mapped again

    Automark mapped my standard ecu
