   rough cost for mechanics fitting, or rough idea on how long to fit?

   A good mechanic, and if all goes to plan, i'd charge you 50quid and have it done in 30-45mins

   A 'good mechanic' would advise you to sway the cambelt kit whilst the cams are being fitted.....makes sense really......also worth considering swapping the waterpump.
   
   I reckon a good garage would charge 3 hours labour + any parts incurred.

   really i just had my cam belt done less than 100miles ago.
   but that sounds bout right on price wise, as reading through things theres two ways of doing it.
   
   also would average garage be able to skim the head while they do cam? or is this a find a specialist place?
