#2i have unmapped ph3 cams in my vtr, and thats lumpy idle so i should imagine the vts to be the same.
as for power you defo want to get them timed up and mapped properly, you will have a fair big increase in power then, alongside a 4 branch decent exhaust system. as for unmapped i dunno mate, my car hesitates sometimes with the cam unmapped ;s -
#3they add about 10bhp unmapped and about 20 mapped, but you reali need better air filter and manifold aswell.
-
#4cheers guys iv gt a raceland 4 branch full 2'' supersprint and bmc cda airfilter with silcon 90 degree elbow
-
#6120 standard, 4/5 from breathing mods. 10 from unmapped cams, 20 from mapped cams on standard ecu, so 145bhp.... and set of bodie in there and shud make 165/170 all give or take pending engines and rr.
-
#7some many different factors, engine wear........ but a good guess on a cammed vts is 140 to 150 about 155 to 160 with bodies.
but not always the case. -
#8I made 147 unmapped...
But different for different engines -
#9id be happy with 20bhp a nice noticable diffrence
-
#11Lol indeed.

#12Im running a ph3 in my vtr with alot of head work done it idles lumpy now and again I like it tho i need to get the timing done on it! Then mapped
-
#13if your thinking about serious power and bank for your buck, bodies are not the best option, you would be best off leaving the cams standard, and doing a low blow turbo conversion, say 10psi on a decomp, you will be pushing more than 170 on a vts on 10 psi. and it wouldnt cost much more than having a bodie conversion done, with mapped cams, etc.

#14yh could be cool but i like the idea of bodies on my saxo as its my weekend toy
