Primes... but no fuel!!

   Just done a 16v conversion on my 1.3 rallye using a converted loom etc
   When turning key all engine lights etc come on ok, fuel pump primes and spits a little fuel out
   
   However does not put any petrol through when engine is turning over
   Any ideas?

   fuel hoses on backwards.

   are you getting a spark/will it fire on easystart?

   like said try changing the fuel pipes round.

   also are you using the 1.3 pump or the 1.6 am not sure if it will make a diffrence.

   Have disconnected the fuel pipes to check if fuel comes out
   Fuel only comes out when pump is priming and not on turning over, which I cant understand
   
   Also using 1.3 pump but that is fine for the job

   ecu sounds locked, or faulty crank sensor.
   
   You need to check for a spark really though!!

   sorry to jump in but i have some problem mine dose not prime at all when i turn key , but did on old ecu, any ideas

    If the crank sensor was faulty it wouldn't prime.
    
    I recon you have a block or pinched hose.
