coil pack

   is it worth removing the coil pack and replacing with high performance ht leads?

   my cars already got a decat exhaust 4 - 1 manifold forced air induction kit and ive got a race cam waiting to be fitted, was told by a tuning company it could require a remap

   Lol forced air induction, you mean a enclosed air filter? Forced induction is BOOOOOST
   
   HT leads would be a waste imo

   that says cold air induction lol not forced induction.
   no point getting ht leads really for performance as you in theory need more mods to even feel anything from them.
   worth getting for looks tho if you can get em cheep enough

   whilst where on subject tho i have a missfire and a few people are certain it my coil pack. so i may consider getting ht leads as there cheaper than a new coil pack so would these fit?

   im not after performance gains, would look better tho.
   
   i have one of the confusing early phase 2 1.4 furio. my coil back is the long rail type that just sits behind the cam cover.i know a plug plugs in the front of it mind so where would that go if i got ht leads.
   
   a mate of mine is going to take the coil pack off his saxo tho to try on mine to see if its definatly my coil pack thats bust. if it sorts it then yeahi may get ht leads, if it doesnt sort it then no i wont get em.

   You would need a distrubution pack as well if your going to fit ht leads

   and how much do they cost? may just be worth buying replacement coil pack instead then unless its only a couple of quid difference. rather have the look of ht leads my self haha. need to test my pack 1st tho
