   Guys in urgent help, my saxo vtr decided this morning to chuck it aniways more info - driving and the car suddenly started loosing power as soon as the car went over 1500 revs it would then decrese again . i managed to get the car to the place i was going but now it wont start i have took off all the plugs and plugged them all back in there is fuel going to the engine as the fuel rail is full. i have tried taking the plugs out and cleaning them still not firing also checked all the fuses and there all fine all lights on the dash as shoukld be the engine will turn but not fire i am now at work till 8pm tonight any suggestion on what to do when i finish ! only had this 3 weeks and is turning into a nightmare lol

   coil pack mite have gave in. anyone at your work who has a saxo and could test there coil pack on yours see if its that?

   i dont have anyone with one although i have a m8 on my street with a vtr mk1 will that do ?

   as long as his coil pack is the same yes it will work mate

   ryte guys i have stripped the engine inlet doen checked all connections i have put back together and still nothing, i done a google search and found that it could be the fuel pump and i though back and usually could hear it priming but aint hearing anithing, i took the back seat off and kinda lost it and punched it lol to my amazement i heard the car prime and it burst into life for about 3 seconds and cut back off now before i go buy a new pump is there anithing else i can try or is that deffos the problem? thanks fo rthe help guys

   tried that m8 i have bitten the bullet i will get one second hand for about £50 also i started stripping the head off to do the stemseals so will update in like 2 weeks how i get on lol
