strut brace

    thinking about getting one but do the actually do owt or are they just for show?

    They stiffen up the front abit m8, if you want to make a real difference then you are better of getting a upper and lower brace.

    Lower strut braces make a noticeable difference. the front end feels tighter and more precise when driving round corners at speed.

    Upper brace makes no noticeable difference. but apparently does help when on track etc.

    I sold my upper strut brace ages ago as it did nothing noticeable. After selling, the car felt the same as it did with the brace on.

    Not sure new. they go for around £20 second hand though.

    if your car is lowered, welcome to hitting your lower brace on every bump you go over. it sits very low, mainly meant for track use, for a daily i wouldnt get one mate

    its only lowerd 40mm i think never caught on a speed bump or owt

    same ive never had a problem on either of mine, 1's down 40mm and the others down 60mm

    how big are you speed bumps my mate down 50 at the front hits everything round here! all lower braces i see for sale too all have damage from countless hits on bumps, you lucky people! my manifold hits a few things let alone getting a lower brace lol
