rust :(

   is it normal to get rust liike round the spare wheel area? is it a good idea to sand down the rust and give it abit of hammerite black? was planning on covering the whole underneath the car in it or should i use something else

   Wire brush, then sand it, then rust primer it, then waxoyl/underseal it all. If any's rusted all the way through, cut it out and weld a plate in and repeat the 1st steps .

   Surface rust isnt really a problem mind

   It went from hammerite to an NASA project.

   thanks guys ill do that and see what the out come is, just thought its best to catch it early enough really, better to be safe than sorry really
