how to find out if ecu is chipped

when i brought my vtr the previous owner said it was chipped but i have no reciept how would i find out if its true

Hi,

There are many ways to chip an ECU, it could had been only software, software and hardware or only hardware, if it was done with hardware you could open it up and look for a super chip fitted to it, but if it was done with only software then you won't see anything unusual,
