de-cat manifold.

    i have a shitty 1.1i (for the time being) 2000 model on a W plate (MK2)

Soo, because the cat is in the manifold, ive been told that a way to de-cat, just switch the manifold with a MK1 manifold.

just wondering if this will actually work? and will anything else have to be changed?.. lol

    cheers guys

oil filter needs to be moved i think.

ive been told its a direct fit off a mk1 so the oil filter wont need to be moved?...

It won't need to be moved if your replacing with a standard saxo manifold.. Only the like's of a raceland 4-2-1.

I did it on my VTR as a temp de-cat.. 1.4 quicksilver/ mk1 VTR mani and downpipe..

yeah i know really, atm i dont need it de-cat, with the exhaust system i already have it gives off a loud but nice roar, the exhaust bubbles and pops when idling, all nice sounds, but its alittle too loud on times.

so im about to by a sportex exhaust system, but ive seen them on cars they look the part and give off a nice purr, but just incase its too quiet on my saxo, MAY consider de-cat (very doubt i will though tbh )
    thanks anyway lads!
