   got the dash board almost out by following this thread

   got to the 'lift out dash stage' but i just cant the indicator and windscreen stalks seem to be in the way and it wont come out.
   
   ive doube checked all the bolts to undo, do the stalks need to come off?

   Take the upper/lower steering column shrouds off,then look underneath the column.There are 3, 13mm bolts take these out drop the column down you may be able to get the dash out that way.

   stalks will come off too think they are held on by a couple of torx's

   hello again mate did mine yesterday and realised the link i gave you is missing alot after taking the wheel off you then have to take the air bag system wires off there are three silver torx take them off then there are another three brass torx that hold the stalks on take them out and just pull them off and let it hang down. Also in the guide the two torx to take off the dial suround are behind the storlks. And as you remove the last two bolts from the footwell the drivers side is attached to a metal bar i just pulled it off but may be a better way to remove it

   yep found the three torxs and it came out with a shuuffle. now the sanding and prep work begins......
