what mpg do u get with what engine, and what power you running??

    as above what engines in ur car, what power is it running and what mpg does it return as im thinking of replacing my c1 with the saxo as a daily but wondering what id get mpg/power wise

    I have a standard 1.4 with 75bhp (new) and am getting about 40-43mpg. £20 easily lasts me a week and a bit

    w reg vtr with 4-2-1 manifold, decat, I think I average about 35-40 mpg.

    106 diesel - -60bhp - see my sig.
    106 gti - 400bhp - driving sensibly, 30ish mpg. Driving hard, 4-6mpg.

    how is it possible ur 400bhp beast gets 30ish??? lol thats brilliant!! my 255 bhp skyline got 30-33. i know weight will affect it but i would of guessed ud get under 20 tbh

    Eunos Roadster 1.6 115bhp - 30mpg roughly.

    Saxo was about the same, but shite on motorways.

    F4R in the 182 - between 25 and 33 mpg
    saxo vtr/xsi thing - no idea

    1.8 Eunos Roadster (MX5) - 33mpg driving very conservatively on motorways, 30mpg round town, mid 20s on track. Standard engine, so 130bhp.

    It's probably more than that tbh We did Nurburgring and back from home, plus 4 laps and a bunch of driving around, so call it 1000 miles, on 4 tanks of fuel. I wasn't running boost really at the ring (5psi). So call it 40 litres x 4 = 160 litres, or 31 gallons. 1000/31 = 32mpg - average

    Mapped correctly, off boost even high powered 106/saxo's should return decent fuel economy if driven calmly.

    Erm - 850kgs maybe? Was 810 but we've added a few bits since then. Not had it on the Weighbridge for a year now. That reminds me... ta!

    yeah mate 76mpg out my citroen c1, east kilbride to pourtsmouth at 50 - 55 mph lol took over 10 hours no cd player,lights,fan ect just my mp3 player lol

    I did a 300 mile round trip up the west coast of scotland on Monday and achieved 44.6mpg in a standard VTS

    can get 350 miles round town i the furio so a 1.4 75bhp thats when the light comes on, and changing gear a 2000rpm.

    TU5J2 156bhp (1.6 8v on bodies and cam etc) about 240miles mixed driving to full tank.

    Saxo VTS (running about 139 hp according to the last rolling road) - 41 mpg combined.

    Saxo vts approx 135bhp . Full tank averaged 38.59 mpg

    2000 (90bhp standard vtr) newman ph2 cam, rallye inlet, 4/2/1, decat, made 115bhp on rollers.

    I average between 70-100 miles off £20 of 99 octane @ £1.39 per litre.

    This can however drop massively depending on how heavy your foot is:-)

    Is this ok?

    Pretty much a full tank's worth of being sat on the motorway at 50. Admittedly it was mostly with the roof down and lights up.

    40mpg in my standard 100BHP VTR driving mostly out of town. I change gear usually at 3500rpm

    My VTR with a KN induction kit and decat (still with the middle silencer and backbox, not sure if that makes it any better) will do around 30mpg around town probs 35 or maybe a little more if you very carful on the motorway doing like 65, but if you put your foot down you can watch the gauge drop.

    My 03 vtr 58k on the clock, I'm pretty certain I'm getting nearly 45mpg out of mine driving sensibly

    03 vtr, unknown milegage

    218bhp, better mpg then my 98bhp vtr engine on 96k!

    although i dont know the exact mpg as im too lazy to work it out

    Wife's Honda Civic Type S averaging 43.6 mpg around town
    My Scooby RA averages 18mpg
    VTS not running yet :-(

    managed 424.9 miles out of a full tank in my gti last weekend.

    cams,mani, pugsport, enclosed green filter, unmapped for first 200 miles mapped for second 200!

    Thats mostly motorway driving but some town and booting it too

    My old corsa 1.2 8v (45bhp new) i used to get 100 miles to 20quid lol
