Mk2 Lights - Tiniting/Painting them black

Is this the way forward ??

Is so, I just have one quick question...........refitting the lens. All it says in the guide is Warm the sealer around the edge of the lens and lamp unit with a hair dryer.......and replace the lens .....is this really strong enough ?? should you not use additional sealant ??

You might not be able to tell if it worked that well yet as the weather's warm. They'll get all steamed up when it starts getting damp and cold outside again.

I think Mattwesty did/does them, im sure he or someone else can answer your question.

jonny - i used that method for the first few sets but have since started using a little additional sealer to make sure. only because i'm selling though, i didn't want to have lamps sent back to be re sealed.
