When I start car when the engine is cold it seems to cut out after like a second,so I have to slightly press acceleration pedal until the engine start warming up then will run fine.if I start the car with a warm engine its fine aswell, any ideas?

would be interesting to find out what cause's this, as my vts is doing the same and i have replaced nearly all the sensor's associated with the fault even changed fuel pump, filter, ecu and it's still doing it.if i reset the ecu, it run's ok for a day or so then comes back again.it's got to the stage where i'm thinking of selling the bloody thing, but i love the wee car to much.

How would you sell the car if it was cutting out? Most buyers are wary of warm cars, ahem

only happens more when the car is warm, obviously if i could fix it a wouldn't be selling it,as i've spent a fortune on it.that's why i said i would be interested in finding out why this is happening.don't want to be hijacking this thread.someone asked for help,so it would be useful info in some of the answer's they receive.

Yours sounds like the ICV, I take it you have changed that?

Have you swapped the lambda sensor?

yeah changed icv, lambda sensor is the only thing i haven't changed, only thing stopping me was there was no engine light and emmisions came back all fine when i had it in for diagnostics so tried to eliminate all the others.
